I am here in London for a leadership conference. I came in a day early for a stroll through the city. Trying to fight off jet-lag I forced myself out of bed mid morning, and after a full English breakfast, began my stroll starting in Brompton.







I decided to walk the loop of Hyde Park then zig-zag through the middle.































Speakers Corner is where fundamentalists and the fearless square off in public debate. Never a soft opinion or dull moment.


The Royal Family has just welcomed a new baby girl. Media everywhere outside the palace waiting for the announcement of her name.


Royal Albert memorial overlooks Royal Albert Hall, and it's a striking memorial to his former majesty.




Quick walk through Kensington and stop for some coffee.


Shackleton is one of my heroes. Endurance one of the most inspiring books I've ever read.


Then back to my room for a quick afternoon nap to fend off more jet-lag. The view from my room at the Rembrandt Hotel.
